Job Description
We seek an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Calgary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, ensuring timely completion of work orders, and maintaining high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Warehouse team to achieve optimal performance
- Monitor and improve customer service standards, including timeliness and professionalism
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue generation and profitability within the department
- Ensure effective dispatching of technicians, accurate billing, and timely completion of work orders
- Support the CDS safety program and initiatives, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of progressive experience, with 2+ years in a management capacity
- Experience in industry with a service and installation or distribution company, preferably in a construction environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and business acumen
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with computers, including emails, MS Office, and inventory management systems
