Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, taking into account customer dietary needs and preferences.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain high standards.
- Kitchen Management: Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, and manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
- Work Setting: Café environment
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
