Responsibilities
  • Train workers in duties and policies: Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment: Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure that all equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Identify and address any issues that may be affecting productivity or product quality, and provide guidance and support to employees to help them overcome challenges.
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work: Manage workload and delegate tasks effectively to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies: Source and purchase necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain efficient operations.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work: Schedule regular maintenance and repair work to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments: Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures: Develop and implement effective scheduling and procedural systems to optimize productivity and workflow.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Operational Team Lead who has a proven track record of success in similar roles. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, operations management).
  • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and repair.
