Job Description

A leading Quebec company in the manufacturing industry is seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join their team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your planning expertise to optimize production schedules and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with laboratory, procurement, purchasing, and production departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Attend production meetings to gather essential technical information on each order, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate estimated hours for new orders and allocate available hours to the production schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement monthly, weekly, and daily planning strategies to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Analyze and propose optimal solutions when production deadlines cannot be met, minimizing delays and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position within a related field (food, pharmaceutical, production).
  • Degree in production management or logistics.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
