Job Title: Taxi Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Taxi Driver to join our team at AKB Motors LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients. This includes driving passengers to their destinations, handling fares, and ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive passengers to their destinations in a safe and timely manner
  • Handle fares and ensure accurate transactions
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Assist passengers with luggage and provide basic tourist information
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all clients
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Meet and exceed performance targets and company expectations
Requirements:
  • Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E)
  • 20/20 vision
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work 35-40 hours per week.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
