Job DescriptionThis role requires a highly skilled individual with 5+ years of experience in environmental monitoring and management. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing Construction Environmental Management Plans and Environmental Protection Plans.
- In-field and desktop environmental compliance auditing.
- Liaising directly with clients and construction contractors.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A registered professional designation (e.g., CEP) or equivalent experience.
- Erosion and sediment control (ESC) certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with ESC plan auditing and preparation.
- Experience with major projects (e.g., BC EAO-certified) and provincial (WSA) and federal (DFO) permitting.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
