Salary Information
For this Senior Data Scientist position, we are offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Global Cyber Security. As a key member of our Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC), you will specialize in taking full advantage of large data sets to explore and discover new insights that would have not been possible with traditional analytics. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines from data cleaning to model development to writing production level code.
- Leading complex data science projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborating proactively with various business and operation units to design innovative solutions to optimize processes and deploy production-scale solutions.
- Mentoring and guiding junior data scientists.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) with a strong theoretical foundation.
- Proven expertise in developing and deploying complex machine learning models, including deep learning architectures, for solving challenging problems.
- Highly proficient programming skills (Python, PySpark) and a deep understanding of statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and big data technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
