About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team at Select Sprinklers Incorporated. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to build and install various landscape features, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our trees and plants by removing weeds, pruning branches, and trimming foliage.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain our lawns and ensure they are well-manicured.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and leaves from our outdoor spaces to keep them clean and tidy.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials to our outdoor spaces.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Help to install new sod or seed lawns to ensure they are healthy and well-maintained.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Assist with the planting of new flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Help to apply fertilizers to our plants and trees to promote healthy growth.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Assist with the watering and maintenance of our plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they are healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Tree Removal: Assist with the removal of trees and other vegetation from our outdoor spaces.
Requirements
  • Will Train: We are willing to provide training to the right candidate to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the job requirements.
  • Durée de l'emploi: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.
