Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at Colas Canada Inc. in Edmonton, AB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and Administer Contracts: Negotiate the most significant contracts or contract modifications, often under difficult conditions.
- Contract Risk Management: Identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.
- Project Planning: Participate in EVLW Edmonton project, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects.
- Team Management: Select personnel, make staffing assignments, supervise work produced to ensure consistent high-quality performance.
- Professional Development: Maintain an active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma in Law or 4-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 15 years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm is required.
- Skills: Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts.
Mission Statement:
In charge of the control and administrative management of the contract or project, the analysis and management of risks and opportunities in order to optimize the profitability of the project.
