**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Director's Administrative Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Transportation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining accurate records.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director with administrative tasks, including data entry, report preparation, and document maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records, including employee personnel files and DOT records.
  • Train new staff members on office procedures and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate daily dispatching of bus drivers for extra trips and sports runs, as well as substitute drivers when needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree with related work experience preferred.
  • Certified Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tyler Tech.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Work Environment:

  • Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department, with potential for overtime.
  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from $17.47 – $20.43, depending on experience.
