As a Lead Delivery Manager in Technology, you'll play a pivotal role in driving high-value, complex initiatives across our technology landscape. You'll collaborate closely with the business to understand their needs, drive results, and deliver excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, valued between £3-7m, across various domains and platforms.
  2. Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and ensuring initiatives meet their expectations.
  3. Develop and implement delivery strategies, approaches, and plans, ensuring initiatives adhere to best practices and project management standards.
  4. Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, proactively resolving any issues or conflicts that arise.
  5. Coordinate and collaborate with delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers.
  6. Provide regular and transparent reporting and status updates to senior management and governance boards.
  7. Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques.

With recent initiatives like the Currys Flexpay relaunch and plans for new customer features, we're seeking a Lead Delivery Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of key projects and initiatives, as well as engagement with our 3rd parties.

Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 5+ years' experience and a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value technology initiatives across different domains and common enterprise-scale technology platforms.
  2. A background in finance and experience operating in a heavily regulated environment.
  3. Experience delivering in large, complex organisations.
  4. Strong knowledge and understanding of the technology landscape, trends, and best practices.
  5. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  6. Knowledge of programme organisation structures and proven ability to build teams set up for success.
  7. Experience and ownership of budget and financial benefits tracking for initiatives >£3m.
