Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Finish Carpenter to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check
  • Willing to travel regularly and relocate
