We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Restruction Alberta Ltd.
Job Summary:The Carpenter will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Survey building locations and levels
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
The Carpenter will work in various locations, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The job requires handling heavy loads and is physically demanding.
