We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Nila Dosa & Curry Restaurant. As an integral part of our kitchen operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality meals to our customers.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring approximately 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills and a strong background in kitchen management. Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Expertise: Assist the head chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Sourcing and Inventory: Collaborate with the head chef to source fresh ingredients, manage inventory, and order supplies as needed.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the serving staff to ensure prompt service and resolve any customer complaints.
Requirements
  • Certification: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 1 month of experience in a similar role or equivalent in the culinary industry.
  • Language: Proficiency in English language.
