We are seeking a skilled Industrial Instruments Technician to join our team at Mid North Automation Inc. as a key member of our operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Maintain Industrial Instruments: Ensure the optimal performance of industrial instruments and systems, including pneumatic and electro-pneumatic sequential control systems, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic sequential control systems, and electronic process instrumentation.
- Repair and Adjust System Components: Troubleshoot and repair system components, including valves, signal converters, and signal conditioners, to ensure seamless operation.
- Complete Test and Maintenance Reports: Document and report on test and maintenance activities, including calibration and certification of instruments and systems.
- Install New Measuring Instruments: Install and commission new measuring instruments, including in-line process analyzers and multiple loop control systems.
- Perform Scheduled Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on industrial instruments and systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification: Possess a valid Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification.
- Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal): Hold a valid Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal) certification.
- 5+ Years of Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Manual Dexterity: Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
