Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Saunders Motors Co. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in body repair and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Instruct apprentices in the art of body repair and provide guidance on best practices
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components to restore vehicles to their original condition
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth and even finish
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, using precision and attention to detail
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, requiring a high level of skill and patience
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, ensuring a secure and sturdy repair
  • Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, requiring a high level of precision and attention to detail
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a seamless and professional finish
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, requiring a high level of skill and patience
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, requiring a high level of strength and endurance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in body repair
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
Work Environment

The work environment is noisy, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
