Job Summary

A fellowship-trained cardiac radiologist is sought after by Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre, a leading healthcare provider in the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia. The successful applicant will join Valley Medical Imaging (VMI), a dynamic and collegial group of 25 radiologists who provide services at multiple hospitals and clinics.


About the Role

This permanent full-time position offers competitive remuneration and involves providing diagnostic medical imaging services at regional care hospitals and community hospitals in the Fraser Valley area. The ideal candidate will possess a full license or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, as well as eligibility for FRCPC in Diagnostic Radiology.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic medical imaging services, including general Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, minor procedures, MRI, and IR.
  • Participate in the on-call schedule to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Demonstrate an affinity for teamwork and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

  • Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre: A 302-bed university-affiliated hospital offering a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, pediatrics, and oncology.
  • Chilliwack General Hospital: A 131-bed university-affiliated community hospital providing medical, surgical, obstetrics, and psychiatric services.
  • Fraser Canyon Hospital: A 20-bed community hospital in Hope, BC, offering sub-acute, ambulatory, and palliative care services.
  • Langley Memorial Hospital: A community hospital with 188 acute beds offering a range of medical services, including critical care, ambulatory care, and emergency services.
  • Mission Memorial Hospital: A 45-bed community hospital providing acute and ambulatory care services, with a brand-new CT scanner.

Compensation Package

The successful applicant can expect a highly competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $400,000 per year, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.
