Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Michael Garron Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing quality care, assessment, treatment, education, and counseling to patients with swallowing and communication impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with swallowing and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families
  • Conduct video fluorographic swallow studies
Requirements:
  • Masters' Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in acute care hospital-based SLP care delivery
  • Experience with video fluorographic swallow studies and tracheostomized individuals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
