About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our team in achieving key business objectives.


Job Summary


The Operations Director will be responsible for driving sales, performance reviews, and client experience while ensuring operational compliance.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement strategies for underperforming locations and representatives.
  • Evaluate and recognize successes in team members.
  • Ensure all sales representatives have completed necessary training and coaching requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels according to established guidelines.
  • Cultivate a culture of career development and succession planning within the sales team.
  • Oversee hiring processes in a proactive manner using established guidelines.
  • Manage retention and turnover rates among representatives.
  • Coordinate day-to-day area operational activities, including field visit reports, communications, payroll processes, performance management, and HR-related tasks.
  • Support the Program Director and other support team members as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to program growth.
  • Analyze data to identify strengths and weaknesses of each field representative.
  • Enforce adherence to field rules and regulations.
  • Develop a weekly schedule that aligns with business needs.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to manage time efficiently.

Qualifications



  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and management skills developed in a retail environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in retail.
  • Experience within the wireless, electronics, or appliance sector in retail is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to proactively support recruiting and hiring.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to train and motivate team members.
  • Focused on results and detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of the retail environment, including managing relationships with key partners and merchandising capabilities.
  • Able to drive sales, results, and client service through a team.
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
  • French language proficiency is an asset.

Estimate Salary Range


$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
