Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and administer individual and group physical therapy sessions
- Assist residents with therapeutic intervention programs, such as range of motion, progressive resistive and stretching, ADLs
- Document resident progress and respond to changes in their condition
- Maintain equipment inventory and assist with department audits, cleaning and inspections
We are looking for a candidate with a Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. Previous experience working in a long-term care environment is an asset, as is knowledge of basic resident care practices and principles. A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care is essential.
