We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Comfort INN & Suites. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Regularly inspect the hotel's facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Receive Payment for Specialized Cleaning Jobs: Handle payment for specialized cleaning jobs, such as deep cleaning or event cleaning.
- Assist Cleaners in Performing Duties: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Coordinate Work Activities with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
- Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
