About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for preparing reports, records, statistics, and other data as needed or requested.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in team, client, and family meetings as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with clients and family/friends to meet their program expectations and needs.
  • Conduct tours of the facilities and interviews prospective clients and/or families through home, hospital, and/or office visits to obtain pre-admission information.
  • Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge of clients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Promote a safety culture by taking every reasonable precaution in the circumstances to ensure the health and safety of employees and all others in the workplace.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma or other applicable education, CPR certification, and previous experience working in long-term care or with seniors. You will also need to possess strong computer literacy skills, the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, and knowledge of available community programs and supports.
