Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients, working closely with the firm's partners and senior attorneys. The role will involve a range of tasks, including:
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on banking and finance/corporate law matters
- Assisting in the preparation and review of complex documents and contracts
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality results and meet deadlines
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and trends, applying knowledge to inform client advice and strategy
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A Canadian law degree and a license to practice law in Canada
- Between 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) gained within a recognized national or international practice
- Proven expertise in banking and finance/corporate law, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
