We're seeking an Enterprise Technical Solutions Expert who will be responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the Zendesk sales cycle.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have 5+ years of Mid Market/Enterprise software selling experience and excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills. They must also have outstanding problem-solving skills and be able to meet business requirements with technical solutions.
- Sales Focus: The candidate should have demonstrated success selling to Enterprise and/or Mid Market executives, convincing C-level and director-level executives of the technical merits and business value of the software solution.
- Technical Skills: Experience in web/scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SaaS applications is required. Knowledge of Customer Service Software, ITSM, data warehousing, business intelligence, workforce engagement management, and Artificial Intelligence solutions is a plus.
The Enterprise Technical Solutions Expert will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers to be the technical bridge between Account Executives and prospects. They will take ownership of prime technical relationships with prospects, driving customer happiness by proactively managing and delivering technical information to customers both onsite, online, and via virtual meetings.
Additional responsibilities include scoping, managing, and executing customer pilots and Proofs of Concept, as well as influencing new product development.
What You Bring- 5+ years of Mid Market/Enterprise software selling experience.
- Experience mapping RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills.
- Experience scoping, managing, and executing customer pilots and Proofs of Concept.
- Knowledge in web/scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SaaS applications.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.
- Outstanding solution scoping abilities, using our existing solution and influencing new product development.
- Obvious passion and focus on developing interpersonal relationships.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a must; graduate degree is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel.
The annualized OTE (On Target Earnings) range for this position is $138,000-$206,000, with a pay mix of 80/20 (base/commission). This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
