Senior Manufacturing Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and versatile professional to join our team as the Senior Manufacturing Operations Lead at NWI Precision.
**Job Summary:**
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management, operations management, and production scheduling to ensure the successful launch and ongoing operation of new production cells. They will oversee and coordinate all shop floor projects, including the preparation and arrival of new machinery, production ramp-up, and efficient material flow within the production cell.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate the arrival and installation of new CNC machinery for production cells.* Schedule and oversee all preparatory activities, including relocation of existing machinery to other areas of the shop, ensuring the support infrastructure for the new machines is complete.* Manage and schedule all shop floor moves with relevant stakeholders to minimize disruptions.* Address any facility requirements necessary to support the new machinery or shop floor moves.* Develop and manage the production schedule for new production cells.* Collaborate with engineering and CNC programming teams to meet customer requirements and optimize processes.* Ensure efficient production flow from material placement in the cell through machining, inspection, and documentation.* Work closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve production bottlenecks.* Oversee the prove-out process for new parts on the new machinery, ensuring accuracy and quality.* Serve as the main point of contact for all shop floor-related projects, coordinating with production, engineering, quality, and other departments.* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to align on schedules, expectations, and project timelines.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's or College degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).* Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, production scheduling, and/or manufacturing operations in a manufacturing environment.* Understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and production flow.* Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex shop floor moves and machinery installations.* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.* Knowledge of production scheduling software and ERP systems.* Familiarity with facility and infrastructure requirements for CNC machinery.* Proven experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
**Estimated Salary:** $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
