About the Role

Aviya Aerospace Systems, a leading provider of engineering services and solutions for critical Aerospace and Defense applications, is seeking a skilled Software Development Professional to join its engineering team in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines, databases, and APIs for seamless data integration with other systems.
  • Oversee the development of pipelines from inception to production releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to missing, inaccurate, or delayed data processing, maintaining data integrity and reliability.
  • Conduct large-scale data reprocessing on cloud environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Maintain and enhance web portal interfaces, handling maintenance and field support issues with ease.
  • Prepare and present detailed release engineering reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings to stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain the DPHM SSIS data pipeline, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Validate new digital engine services as part of the EIS rollout, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Analyze operational data from field and test cell engines, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Develop and validate new engine-specific health monitoring functions, trend data cleansing scripts, and their portal interfaces, driving innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles for data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in managing SQL and Delta Lake databases for efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to support engineering teams by performing complex data queries and exploratory data analysis for valuable insights.
  • Proficiency in software validation and verification testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
