Job Description

The role of a Sales Technical Solutions Specialist is to provide comprehensive technical support for all products and service solutions offered by Process & Steam Specialties.

This includes working collaboratively with account managers and support staff, creating and delivering engaging product demonstrations via web meetings, telesales and after-sales support, responding to customer inquiries, chasing vendors/suppliers for product pricing and delivery, ensuring timely satisfaction of customer technical and commercial needs based on agreed KPIs, project follow-up and coordination using industrial websites and other contractors' websites, liaising with customers and in-house staff and partners, interpreting product and service inquiries and providing technical solutions as required, attending industry tradeshows when required, recording customer database and documenting process in the CRM system, managing territory business development through effective networking, telesales, research, growing contact list and ensuring Process & Steam Specialties is at the forefront of all local opportunities, marketing and promoting products to customers with knowledge, service, and product related to the steam system and industrial processes, allowing customers to improve their process and steam system performance and increase profitability, logging quotations and providing direction for products, strategy, and margins, able to complete product selection and sizing, maximizing quote value using AutoCAD drawings/SolidWorks, demonstrating capability in mechanical and electrical industrial knowledge, managing/participating in large projects as required, maintaining communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure complete, timely, and accurate service delivery with every customer and every order, liaising with vendors and key stakeholders regarding technical questions and pricing, demonstrating a track record of exceeding targets continually by selling solutions to build strong customer relationships, yield customer loyalty, and repeat sales, accurately and timely completion of all documentation and logging all information in the CRM database all potential users, identifying key accounts within the individual sales territory, allocating sufficient time and resources to these accounts to develop a plan of attack and maximize sales, assisting in the sales process by liaising with the sales team on potential opportunities related to engineering packages and solution selling, creating a library of SolidWorks drawings related to PSS products line and packaging system, designing and drawing system packages, creating three-dimensional (3D) models and 2D production drawings; updating bills of material and specifications associated with products and the modification of existing products, as well as those associated with special customer orders, updating engineering specifications as needed.
