Your Area of Focus:
The Auto Body Repair Shop Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the collision repair centre, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality service, and customer satisfaction. This role includes managing a team of technicians, coordinating repair processes, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring that repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize Financial Performance: Manage daily operations to optimize financial performance across all areas of the collision center.
- Efficient Workflow: Oversee repair workflows to ensure efficiency and timely completion of jobs.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to the team, setting clear goals and expectations to foster success.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff performance to maintain high standards.
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients throughout the repair process.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and insurance companies.
- Financial Management: Monitor accounts receivable and manage repair work invoicing and collections.
- Estimating and Coaching: Write estimates and coach the estimating team to ensure accurate and efficient job costing.
- Insurance Claims: Cultivate professional relationships with insurance adjusters and ensure smooth claims processing.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collision Centre Manager (or equivalent experience in a leadership role within a collision centre).
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- A valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
