At RBC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Cybersecurity Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Global Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management audit group.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in IT/Cyber risk management and/or internal audit roles, with a strong background in leading teams and managing regulatory examinations. You will also have experience working in large and complex banks, as well as a proven track record of building out data analytics for IT and Cyber.

This is a full-time salaried position, offering a competitive compensation package, including bonuses and flexible benefits. You will also have opportunities to work on challenging projects, collaborate with business unit leadership, and develop your skills through coaching and managing opportunities.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individual who can provide insights to Technology and Operations, and act as a trusted advisor to the function. If you have excellent interpersonal relationship management skills, adaptability, auditing, detail-oriented, internal controls, and multi-level communication skills, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing independent assurance for the internal control environment relative to Global Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management.
  • Leading and supporting regulatory engagements for the Global Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management audit team, including responses, materials, and interviews/discussions.
  • Collaborating with business unit leadership to develop and implement audit and control policies, procedures, and best practices which support the growth strategies for those units.
  • Developing capability of team use of analytic tools to widen scope of assurance.
  • Maintaining relationships with external auditors, business units and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely manner.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience. This salary includes base pay, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
