Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a patient care specialist, you will work within a client and family centered care model, providing compassionate care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with the Nursing Process and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes for residents
  • Assess, plan, and implement a plan of care for residents with diverse needs and requirements
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure quality care and services

Requirements

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
