As an Underground Labourer, you will be responsible for performing pre-operational inspections, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, instructing apprentices, and assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance work, removing rubble and other debris at construction sites, and adjusting equipment, valves, pumps, and controls and process equipment. Additionally, you will assist in the development of chemical engineering processes, studies of chemical engineering procurement, construction, inspection, and maintenance.", "Credentials": "To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures. You will also need to have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel. You will be required to have a criminal record check and a driving record check (abstract).", "Experience and Specialization": "We are looking for an individual with experience in underground construction, including hydroelectric dams, industrial, commercial, and institutional projects, roads and bridges, and underground and tunnel work. You will also need to have experience with poured concrete, irrigation, and drainage.", "Additional Information": "This is a hybrid position that requires both in-person and remote work. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
