We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Buyer to join our team at 2534836 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our procurement department.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Management: Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays and customer satisfaction.
- Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets and maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Procurement Planning: Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Accurate: Ability to accurately manage inventory and track orders.
- Client Focus: Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the procurement team to achieve goals.
