Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Distance Freight Carrier INC. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 40-50 hour workweek. The role involves working on the road, with occasional overnight stays. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to handle heavy loads, and willing to relocate for work assignments.
