We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician, Masters to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Case Management: Coordinate services with community resources, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on mental health and substance use issues, recovery processes, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' rights and needs, provide emotional support, and connect clients with community resources and services to promote independence and self-determination.
- Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of two years' recent experience working with clients and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders is required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
