Clinical Coordinator, Community Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our Community Mental Health team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the day-to-day operations of our mental health services, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the mental health team, ensuring optimal use of resources and efficient use of clinical staff.
- Supervise designated clinical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of new clinical staff, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent in the field.
- Conduct client file reviews, ensuring that clinical records are complete and clinically sound.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that we are providing evidence-based practice and adhering to best practices in mental health care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care services.
- Participate in risk management activities, ensuring that we are identifying and mitigating risks to patients and staff.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or other relevant health-related discipline.
- Four years of recent related experience, including two years of staff supervisory experience, as well as clinical experience in individual, family, and group modalities of practice in mental health/psychiatry in community and/or hospital settings.
- Eligible for registration with relevant professional association.
- Valid B.C. Driver's license and access to personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
