We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage our financial records, prepare cheques for payroll, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare tax returns.
  • Reconcile accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits.
  • Prepare reports and audit findings.
  • Calculate contributions and benefits for pension and superannuation plans.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
  • 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
Skills
  • MS Excel.
  • Simply Accounting.
  • MS Office.
  • Sage Accounting Software.
