Your Future Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvest Operations Specialist to join our team at our Hudson Bay bog operation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating farm tractors with implements, working with loaders and other agricultural equipment, and performing daily equipment checks to ensure safe operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate farm tractors with implements such as peat harvest vacuums and various harrows.
  • Work with loaders and other agricultural equipment to harvest peat.
  • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure safe operation and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
  • Store, monitor, and perform quality control testing on harvested peat piles.
  • Maintain site organization and cleanliness.
  • Ensure safe working practices and prioritize the safety of yourself and others.

Requirements

  • Experience operating farm tractors and agricultural equipment.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
