Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Modinno Dwellings Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build structures
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Carpenter will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with physically demanding tasks.
