About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our cleaning and janitorial team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees to provide support and guidance in their new role.

Support for Youths

We provide on-the-job training tailored to youth to help them develop their skills and gain experience in the cleaning and maintenance industry.

Support for Indigenous People

We provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Work Environment: 40 hours per week, English language, permanent work term.
