Job Title: Pastry Cook
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Elisa, a renowned restaurant in Vancouver. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, cakes, and bread under the direction of our experienced Pastry Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily prep items with fresh ingredients
- Create and design bread, cakes, and viennoise
- Work closely with teammates to support daily cleaning tasks
- Maintain attention to detail with product presentation and design
- Maintain an organized and clean prep/work area
- Sample ingredients, mix, and finish products to meet quality standards
- Meet production schedules and timelines
Requirements:
- Completion of a designated culinary school
- Minimum 6 months baking/pastry work experience
- Ability to multi-task and have an eye for detail
- Organized and able to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Excellent English language communication skills
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings
