Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer - Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer - Project Lead to join our team in Kitchener/Waterloo. As a key member of our Small Buildings team, you will be responsible for leading structural engineering projects and ensuring compliance with OBC part 9 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural engineering designs and documents
  • Prepare and manage project tasks within assigned time and budget constraints
  • Coordinate with other team members to achieve project milestones
  • Assist in researching new systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Complete site investigations and prepare field review reports as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited Canadian University or equivalent
  • Registered as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers of Ontario
  • Knowledge of OBC part 9 and experience with wood frame construction
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and practices or construction work experience considered an asset
