About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join our team at Affinity Credit Union. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for developing financial plans for our members, providing support and expertise in all aspects of financial planning, and leveraging technology to deliver a remarkable member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans for our members, taking into account their unique financial goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of financial planning, including investment, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Leverage technology to deliver personalized member education and support, driving sales and growth.
  • Promote the interests of Affinity Credit Union through community outreach activities, generating new business opportunities and attracting new members.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Financial planning designation (CFP, QAFP, or PFP) is a requirement.
  • Mutual funds course (CSC, IFIC, or equivalent) and maintenance of registration eligibility.
  • Successful completion of the Responsible Investment (RI) Course within 12 months of starting.
