Job Title: Painting and Decorating Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painting and Decorating Supervisor to join our team at GoodHome Painting Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of painters and decorators, ensuring that all projects are completed to a high standard and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Plan and coordinate painting and decorating projects, including estimating costs and materials.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Working Conditions:
