About the Role

This permanent position involves working as part of a team to ensure high-quality finishes on various construction projects. As a Concrete Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for applying desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, installing anchor bolts and other fixtures, and repairing and replacing damaged sections of concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
  • Applying desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading blueprints, schemas, and drawings
  • Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates
  • Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitoring progress
  • Establishing and implementing policies and procedures for quality control
  • Directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing
  • The ability to work outdoors in dusty environments
  • Excellent physical stamina due to the physically demanding nature of the job
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. You must also be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
