Senior Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer

At MACOM, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. As part of our High Performance Connectivity team, we are seeking a skilled Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join our dynamic product development team.
Job Summary:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art mixed signal integrated circuits for serial communications. Your expertise in analog design fundamentals, familiarity with analog/mixed signal simulators, and lab equipment will be essential in bringing innovative ideas to reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high frequency/high speed blocks in CMOS and/or BiCMOS technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop product flow from definition to qualification
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of analog and high frequency design fundamentals
- Utilize EDA design tools and experience with lab equipment to evaluate and debug prototypes
- Contribute to the overall product flow and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
Requirements:
- MSEE with a minimum of 5 years of analog design experience
- Demonstrated successful track record of silicon success in blocks/products such as Gbps equalizers, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers, transimpedance amplifiers, ADCs, and DACs
- Proficient with EDA design tools and experience with lab equipment
- Strong understanding of analog and high frequency design fundamentals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
