As an Employment Support Professional, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their career goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide job placement services, including interview preparation, resume writing, and job search strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to understand their employment history, educational background, and career aspirations.
  • Identify potential barriers to employment and develop personalized plans to overcome them.
  • Administer and interpret various assessments to determine clients' interests, aptitudes, and abilities.
  • Provide clients with labour market information, including job openings, entry requirements, and occupational trends.
  • Offer guidance on maintaining a job or advancing within an organization.
  • Collaborate with community groups, businesses, and other organizations to provide career planning support and resources.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
