Lead and Innovate

As a key member of the WSP USA team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Bus Transit Group by leveraging existing skills, researching market intelligence, and setting strategic direction. You will foster a collaborative, innovative team environment and identify and evaluate new business opportunities. Your strong leadership skills and ability to make impactful decisions will inspire teams to achieve project goals.

You will work closely with other WSP leaders to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives. Your deep knowledge of bus transit systems and proven experience in leading and managing Bus Transit projects across Canada will be invaluable assets to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the Bus Transit Group by leveraging existing skills and researching market intelligence
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Oversee Bus Major Pursuits and Projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction
  • Work with other WSP leaders to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives
Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and senior leadership roles in the bus transit sector. You will have a proven track record of managing and growing technical/engineering staff and promoting a Transit Center of Excellence. Your ability to make impactful decisions and inspire teams to achieve project goals will be essential to the success of this role.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15+ years' experience in the engineering field and 10+ years in a senior leadership role in the bus transit sector
  • Deep knowledge of bus transit systems and proven client relationships within Canada
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make impactful decisions and inspire teams to achieve project goals
  • Proven experience in leading and managing Bus Transit projects across Canada
  • In-depth knowledge of bus transit systems and strategic planning and project management expertise
