Job Title: Lead Chef

CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Chef to join our culinary team. As a Lead Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our lodge, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train culinary staff to maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the lodge management team to plan and execute special events and functions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of menu development, food cost control, and staff management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients, with a focus on sustainability and reducing food waste.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
