Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at West Coast Grill Sooke.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high standards of quality and excellence. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and service.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
