About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Mundy Park Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced bakers in the preparation and production of a wide range of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Production: Assist in the preparation of dough, batters, and icings for various baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
  • Training and Development: Train and assist junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
